Eligibility Criteria

Are 40 years of age or older.

Have experienced knee pain from osteoarthritis for more than 6 months.

Still have knee pain despite non-surgical treatments such as medication, physical therapy, or bracing.

May have recent imaging (X-ray, MRI, or CT scan) showing mild to moderate knee osteoarthritis.

Are willing to track your pain and attend study visits for about 6 months.

*Final eligibility will be determined by the study team.

What to Expect

As part of the study, participants may:

  • Complete a short screening process to determine eligibility for the study.
  • Track knee pain in a 7-day electronic diary before treatment.
  • Undergo a diagnostic numbing test of the knee nerves, which helps researchers confirm the source of the pain.
  • Receive one study treatment and attend follow-up visits over approximately 24 weeks so the research team can monitor progress.

Throughout the study, participants will be supported by the experienced research team at Solaris Research Institute. Study-related care and procedures will be provided at no cost, and participants may be compensated for their time and participation.
